Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz was founded in time immemorial, reportedly some time durring the early 8th century, by Mbōy Ca̋mé̄y 'Sarina Cayla' Cúchī̄s Mp̪vó̄nḱ Cú̄r vyim Mɑnktunk. The establishment of Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the early 8th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz is buildings are arranged within a network of broad cobblestone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. The would-be-castle fortifications have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
A look around Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.

Cultural Notes
Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.
Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is short in Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz.
Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in winter and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Wild Magic energies of tier 1 via mimery.

Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz is still bloodied by a recent violent conflict. A crushing bandit raid, a lost siege, getting caught at the periphery of a major battle, or some other calamity has inflicted severe damage on the place. Some communities may suffer a longer-term version of this, their youths lost in a grinding, endless battle against some perpetual threat.
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century an unusualy harsh winter spawned a deadly blizard to Iyuzeld Ghecota-siz. The ice, snow, and wind killed 283 people, 137 livestock, and destroyed 51. The event is remembered as Doom's Breath.
